Derby City Ribbons

To sharpen my design skills and put my overflow of creative energy to use, I founded Derby City Ribbons: a small business selling handmade award ribbons that encourage you to "celebrate every day!"

The idea came from my desire to experiment with product and packaging design while handcrafting something that could tangibly spread joy. I'm glad to say that customers love it too - I've sold 1,100+ ribbons and am proud to have earned over 140 5-star reviews!

This entrepreneurial endeavor has been a wonderful way for me to try out the maxim "done is better than perfect" - get designs up, test the waters, and iterate accordingly.​ My website (linked below) is a great example: I would consider it a "rough draft" that I plan to expand and improve as time allows.
